Before going to Antarctica, I had visited Iceland and witnessed the beauty of its glaciers; but arriving in Antarctica in person felt like experiencing a magnified version of the polar world. Endless glaciers met the white clouds, and strangely shaped ice floes shimmered with a dreamy, icy blue; the scenery changed every moment. Seaventure Boat Experience: Small but Complete
When I chose the small boat at Polar Latitudes, I was initially worried that the facilities might be too limited. However, I found that the boat was "small but complete": it had everything from rooms and rest areas to food and drinks.
More importantlyThe expedition team was very professionalBesides planning the best itinerary for us every day and maximizing our activity time, they also made adjustments and conducted surveys based on weather changes to ensure our safety and peace of mind. On one occasion, a large storm hit the planned port, making it unsuitable for launching. The expedition team and captain quickly found a safer port to anchor in, and did not cancel the day's itinerary due to the weather, which was truly admirable.

Even though Polar Latitudes expeditions have long led teams in Antarctica, they still encounter unusual creatures every time they do so—such aswhales, emperor penguinsThey were still very excited to introduce and take photos for us. Their love for this pristine land and their sincere enthusiasm for Antarctica touched everyone on the ship.

Antarctica is a country far removed from the world, where one can leave behind the trivialities of life and the hustle and bustle of daily life in a desolate place, experiencing nature in its most primal way for over ten days—a truly cleansing experience for body and soul.
