The three-island itinerary covers the Falkland Islands, South Georgia Island, and Antarctica, offering a 20-day voyage showcasing the rich ecology of up to seven penguin species. In the Falkland Islands, you'll stroll along sand dunes and seabird cliffs, visit the charming British town of Stanley, and get up close to the playful antics of Magellanic, Rockhopper, Gentoo, and King penguins. Next, on South Georgia Island, you'll find yourself amidst a spectacular colony of hundreds of thousands of King penguins, wander along beaches teeming with penguins and elephant seals, follow in the footsteps of Sir Shackleton, and admire the graceful flight of albatrosses. Finally, you'll land on Antarctica, where you'll be awestruck by majestic glaciers, endless ice fields, and breathtaking mountains, exploring this pristine polar landscape up close by inflatable boat or canoe.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day - Arrive in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in Argentina.

Fly to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.
Known as the "End of the Earth," this place is surrounded by the magnificent Southern Andes Mountains and the Beagle Channel. The air is so fresh that it instantly relaxes you. It is recommended to arrive 1-2 days in advance to visit Tierra del Fuego National Park, take the world's southernmost train, or enjoy a fresh king crab meal at the port to recharge for your Antarctic journey.
Tonight we're checking into a city hotel, preparing to officially board the ship tomorrow and embark on the most dreamlike adventure of my life—the seventh continent!

Day 2: Boarding Day - Departure from Ushuaia

We officially boarded the ship in Ushuaia in the afternoon.
After boarding procedures are completed, the cruise ship will slowly depart from the pier and sail along the historic Beagle Channel. This channel runs through the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, the southernmost island of South America, and its snow-capped mountains and forests on both sides are breathtakingly beautiful.
As the ship slowly sailed out to sea, everyone on deck was filled with anticipation and excitement, because the next time you saw land, you would be standing on the southernmost continent in the world: Antarctica.

Day 3: Day at Sea - Departure for the Falkland Islands

After sailing eastward towards South America for a day and a half, they arrived at the Falkland Islands.

During this time, the ship's expedition team and experts from various fields will invite all passengers to participate in lectures on topics such as history, geography, and ecology, to gain a deeper understanding of the Falkland Islands they are about to arrive at.

Day 4-5: Landing Event - Falkland Islands

Arrive in the Falkland Islands, a wildlife paradise with nearly 800 islands.

The Falkland Islands are the first stop on the three-island tour. You will explore this land over two days, encountering up to five penguin species: King, Gentoo, Magellanic, Southern Rockhopper, and Crested Penguin. Stroll along the dunes and cliffs, and get up close to the amusing penguin families and herds of elephant seals.

Also visit Stanley, the capital city full of British charm, stroll through the streets to admire the red telephone booths, Victorian architecture and the southernmost cathedral in the world, and experience the life of this pristine island where humans and animals live in harmony, a place that has witnessed war.

Days 6-7: Day at Sea - Crossing the Southern Ocean

Over the next two days, we will continue our voyage in the Southern Ocean, heading to the isolated island of South Georgia.

Your day at sea will be filled with fascinating lectures by the expedition team, covering topics such as photography, wildlife, glaciology, and history. Between lectures, you can head to the deck to spot wildlife or relax in the bar with a drink and chat with your fellow travelers.

Days 8-11: Landing Activities - South Georgia Island

Arrive at South Georgia Island, where king penguins congregate.

South Georgia Island is a perfect blend of wildlife paradise and historical site.
Here, you'll stroll through spectacular king penguin colonies, such as the St Andrews Bay with its population of over 150,000 penguins, where you can spot fluffy chicks and adults at any time; follow in the footsteps of legendary explorer Sir Shackleton on a hike to relive his perilous rescue mission and pay your respects at his grave; visit the Goodwill Museum to learn about the bloody history of whaling and the current resurgence of whale populations. Furthermore, you can observe up close groups of seals breeding and the graceful silhouettes of wandering albatrosses, making the landing experience both awe-inspiring and deeply moving.

Days 12-13: Day at Sea - Crossing the Scotia Sea

After three days of landing on South Georgia Island, the next day was a two-day sea voyage across the Sea of Scotia.

Because parts of the Sea of Scotia overlap with the Drake Passage, large waves are sometimes unavoidable. In addition to seasickness medication that you prepare beforehand, the ship's doctor will also provide medication to relieve seasickness symptoms.
During these two days, the theme lectures on the ship will focus on the Antarctic continent, where we will land next. We will also invite expedition members or experts with professional knowledge to give lectures, so that all passengers can have a comprehensive understanding of the animal ecology, geography, and historical stories of the Antarctic continent.

Days 14-17: Landing Activities - Antarctic Peninsula and Southern Seylan Islands

When you actually set foot on Antarctica, what often wells up in your heart is boundless awe and shock.

This is one of the purest, almost untouched icy worlds on Earth, instantly making it clear why countless explorers and travelers have been captivated by it for centuries. Each visit to Antarctica brings new and unexpected surprises, making your journey a unique and precious memory. Explore frozen bays and landing sites daily in Zodiac boats. Under the attentive care of a professional expedition team, you can hike through the snow, visit science stations, and get up close to Chinstrap, Adélie, and Gentoo penguins. Keep an eye out for Weddell, Crabeater, and Leopard seals, as well as humpback whales, minke whales, and even orca. In this tranquil world, the noisy squabbling of penguins over rocks and the thunderous roar of glaciers breaking apart will become unforgettable memories. Every day is completely different, meticulously designed by an experienced expedition team, all to make you fall in love with this continent in amazement and emotion.

Day 18-19: Day at Sea - Crossing the Drake Passage

The two days at sea on the return journey are the last chance to breathe in the crisp Antarctic air.

Standing on the deck, feeling the wind blowing, you can search for seabirds soaring alongside the ship, track whales occasionally surfacing, attend the expedition team's final lectures, or raise a glass with fellow ship's passengers at the bar to reminisce about this incredible journey and celebrate our recently completed Antarctic expedition. As the cruise ship once again enters the Beagle Channel, and the lights of Ushuaia appear in the night, this dreamlike journey to the seventh continent will come to a perfect end. Filled with awe and emotion, you will officially become one of the lucky few who have truly been to Antarctica.

Day 20: Disembarkation Day - Return to Ushuaia

You will arrive in Ushuaia in the early morning. After breakfast, you will officially bid farewell to the polar cruise ship that accompanied you on your conquest of the seventh continent, disembarking with a sense of awe, emotion, and thousands of photos.
You will continue your journey or take a plane back home.
