We're back from Antarctica! \ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddf6<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Last February, our Let's Go to Antarctica team organized a single-island tour. A group of nineteen people boarded Quark Expedition's World Explorer cruise ship for a polar journey to Antarctica, exploring the ecological landscape of the southernmost point of the Earth. Before departure, we learned from the storm forecast that we might encounter rough seas at Drake Passage on our sailing day. After boarding, we waited for several hours at the port of the Beagle Channel, and then, led by our highly skilled captain, we patiently awaited the right moment and sailed south, arriving in Antarctica as planned.<\/p>

After weathering the storms of Drake Passage, we arrived in Antarctica to be greeted by a stunningly clear day. The expedition members told us that during the typical Antarctic tourist season, there are only 5-10 days of clear skies and seascapes. We were incredibly lucky; three out of our four days of landing activities were blessed with sunshine.<\/p>

In the past few days, we have seen the most magnificent glaciers, the calmest seas, the most beautiful sunsets, and what we have been looking forward to for so long\u2014animals of all sizes, including rare killer whales and newborn leopard seal pups, all poked their heads out to greet us.<\/p>

\u2600\ufe0f Witnessing firsthand the last pristine place on Earth, nature is truly beautiful and magnificent. The emotion of seeing such beauty with one's own eyes is indescribable and cannot be captured by photographs. With hearts full of emotion, we quietly appreciate the animal habitat, a treasure bestowed upon all living things and humankind by nature.<\/p>
