The journey to the Antarctic continent takes only two hours, making it ideal for travelers with limited time or those prone to seasickness. You'll embark on a small expedition cruise to explore the magnificent glaciers, towering mountains, and abundant wildlife of the Antarctic Peninsula up close. Observe the adorable penguins and seals amidst the ice and snow, and savor the breathtaking scenery of this pristine continent through zodiac cruises or amphibious activities. An Antarctic journey can be completed in as little as 6 days, while the classic 8-day itinerary offers four full days of in-depth exploration. Under safe conditions, there will be one amphibious landing and one sea cruise each morning and evening, providing multiple unforgettable experiences of close encounters with Antarctica.    

South Georgia & Antarctica Itinerary 2026-2028

Besides the must-see Antarctica, the two-island itinerary will also visit South Georgia Island, a four-and-a-half-day voyage from South America. South Georgia Island is home to a vast penguin colony. You'll stroll along beaches teeming with king penguins and elephant seals, admire the amusing antics of Gentoo, Chinstrap, and Adelie penguins, and observe albatrosses gracefully soaring above the ship. Antarctica will then take center stage, its majestic peaks and boundless expanse awe-inspiring. You can explore and photograph the shimmering glaciers up close in a rubber dinghy, or savor the rugged and magnificent peninsula scenery from a canoe perspective. After deducting the first day of embarkation and the last day of disembarkation, the two-island itinerary offers a total of seven full days of landings. Provided safety is ensured, the captain and expedition leader will arrange two landings and one rubber dinghy cruise each morning and afternoon during these seven days.
