Overview Overview

Easter Island (Rapa Nui) is one of the most remote inhabited islands on Earth, with nearly a thousand mysterious Moai statues standing silently between a volcano and the Pacific Ocean, telling the legend of a lost civilization. This four-day, three-night itinerary takes you deep into Anakena Beach, the fifteen Moai statues of Ahu Tongariki, and the Rano Raraku quarry, allowing you to leisurely appreciate the mystery and magnificence of this isolated Pacific island.

This tour is executed by our carefully selected top-tier local partners. The private version includes admission to Rapa Nui National Park and an in-depth explanation of Moai culture by a dedicated English-speaking guide familiar with the island. Easter Island accommodations and flights are in high demand and limited in availability. Through our extensive network, we arrange everything in advance, with dedicated staff handling every step, ensuring your peace of mind and comfort in this remote destination.

From luxury to affordability, the choice is yours: those who prefer flexibility and privacy can opt for a private tour with a private car, guide, and included entrance fees; those on a budget can choose a group tour that visits the same attractions at a more affordable price. Accommodation can be upgraded from the Taha Tai hotel on the Hanga Roa beachfront to the elegant Hare Nua boutique design hotel; the combination of attractions and the number of days of stay can also be adjusted to suit your interests.

For many travelers, Easter Island and Antarctica represent two distant yet captivating ends of the same grand Latin American adventure. As a travel agency specializing in Antarctica, Let's Go to Antarctica excels at seamlessly connecting the two destinations, personally overseeing flights, connections, and every detail. We firmly believe that excellent service is worth every investment—it reduces the worries of the journey and adds pure感动 (a feeling of being deeply moved). Feel free to chat with your polar consultant to tailor a unique Easter Island experience just for you.

Day 2: Annakena + Tongariki + Rano Raraku (Full Day)

Anakena + Tongariki + Ranoraraku

The full day will take you deep into the three most iconic sites on the island. Depart early for Ahu Tongariki to greet the sunrise at the most spectacular altar on Easter Island, composed of fifteen giant Moai statues – a classic Easter Island postcard scene where the sun shines through the gaps between the Moai heads, a breathtaking moment. Afterwards, drive to the Rano Raraku quarry volcanic slope, the "birthplace" of all Moai, where hundreds of unfinished statues are scattered across the hillside meadows and around the crater lake. Enjoy a traditional lunch included in the package, then arrive in the afternoon at Anakena's white sand beach – a tropical oasis surrounded by palm trees and nestled between mountains and the sea, the Nau Nau Moai formations are the most romantic corner of Easter Island, perfect for swimming in the sea or simply relaxing on the white sand.

Lanokau + Orongo + Akivi

In the morning, we'll visit Rano Kau Crater Lake at the southwestern tip of the island—a circular crater over 1.6 kilometers in diameter, its surface covered with reeds and floating islands, making it Easter Island's most spectacular geographical wonder. Afterwards, we'll walk to Orongo, a ceremonial village, to learn about this stone house settlement built for "birdman worship" and the legend of its rock carvings. In the afternoon, we'll visit the only seven Moai statues on the island facing the sea—the Ahu Akivi, said to represent the seven pioneering explorers from Polynesian mythology who sailed to this place. In the evening, we'll return to the hotel, with free time to enjoy the final Pacific sunset at the beach.
